Academic Excellence 2016

DIFE Drogheda Institute of Further Education honours Leah Brady 2018

Past pupil Leah Brady was recently chosen as 2017-2018 student of the year at Drogheda Institute of Further Education. From Drumcar, Leah completed her Leaving Cert in Scoil Ui Mhuiri, Dunleer before commencing a PLC in Pre-University Law in DIFE. Leah took advantage of the route to third level provided to those who successfully complete a range of PLC courses and applied for Law in NUI Maynooth. Having achieved distinctions in all eight subjects, she is now studying Law (BCL) in NUI Maynooth.

Leah was chosen as student of the year for a number of reasons. She was a pleasure to have in the class, was always in good form, mixed well with all students and was eager to help her peers and to participate in class. She was hardworking all year, listened to feedback and acted upon it and completed her work on time and to high standard. Leah’s work experience with a local solicitor in town proved very successful. She was very highly thought of and was kept on long after her period of work experience was complete.  We wish Leah every success for her future.
