Team Hope Annual Christmas Shoebox Appeal

On the 10th of November 2016, our classes 1 Casement and 1 Colbert took part in the annual Christmas shoebox appeal. We all contributed something for these children that have nothing. We put together a mixture of shoeboxes for boys and girls aged from 2 to 4 years old, 5 to 9 years old and 10 to 14 years old. 

It was an amazing experience and we have helped children who would not have gotten any presents this Christmas. Everyone deserves something at Christmas no matter how small it is. It is the thought that counts and it has taught us all to be so thankful for what we have. 

We would definitely do it again because we are helping a worthy charity and the children is less fortunate countries benefit from this with the gifts they receive. We made sure to do equal amounts of boxes for boys and girls. 

We would encourage people to do this every year as we thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to continue doing this every year.
